전주서원시니어클럽이 17일과 18일 이틀간 전주학생교육문화관 공연장에서 노인일자리 역량 활용 및 노인공익활동 사업단 참여자 1700여 명을 대상으로 역량 강화 교육을 실시했다.

첫날 교육에는 노인 역량 활용 사업 참여자 900여 명이 참석해 활동 과정에서 반드시 알아야 할 주요 안내 사항과 안전교육, 법정의무교육 등을 받았다.

참석자들은 교육을 통해 활동 경험을 공유하고, 안전한 활동과 건강한 일자리 참여에 대한 의지를 다졌다.

전주시는 앞으로도 다양한 교육을 통해 노인일자리 참여자들이 보다 안전하고 안정적으로 활동에 참여할 수 있도록 지원할 계획이다.

김경옥 전주서원시니어클럽 관장은 “어르신들이 지역사회 안에서 활기차게 참여할 수 있도록 복지와 연계한 다양한 활동 기회를 확대하겠다”며 “지역사회 협력을 바탕으로 안전하고 지속 가능한 일자리 창출에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

우범기 전주시장은 “어르신들의 경험과 노하우는 지역사회의 성장과 발전을 이끄는 소중한 자산”이라며 “노인일자리는 경제적 자립을 돕는 것은 물론 돌봄과 복지가 함께 어우러지는 중요한 기반이 되는 만큼 적극 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 전주서원시니어클럽은 대한불교조계종 금산사복지원이 운영하고 있으며, 올해 57개 사업단을 통해 약 2500명의 노인에게 다양한 공익활동과 일자리를 제공하고 있다.

The Jeonju Seowon Senior Club conducted capacity enhancement education for about 1,700 participants from the elderly job utilization and senior public service activities team at the Jeonju Student Education and Culture Center performance hall on the 17th and 18th.

On the first day of the education session, around 900 elderly job utilization project participants attended and received essential guidance on safety education, legal obligation education, and other key information necessary for their activities.

Through the education, participants shared their activity experiences and strengthened their determination for safe and healthy job participation.

Jeonju City plans to continue supporting elderly job participants to engage in activities more safely and stably through various education programs in the future.

Kim Gyeong-ok, the head of the Jeonju Seowon Senior Club, stated, "We will expand various activity opportunities linked with welfare to allow the elderly to actively participate in the local community," adding, "We will strive to create safe and sustainable job opportunities based on community cooperation."

Jeonju Mayor Woo Beom-gi emphasized, "The experiences and know-how of the elderly are valuable assets that lead the growth and development of the local community," and expressed, "Active promotion of elderly job opportunities is crucial as it not only supports economic self-reliance but also serves as an important foundation where care and welfare are combined."

Meanwhile, the Jeonju Seowon Senior Club, operated by the Geumsansa Welfare Center of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, provides various public service activities and job opportunities to approximately 2,500 elderly individuals through 57 project teams this year.
