부안에서 발달장애인의 취업 기회를 넓히기 위한 전문교육 참여자 모집이 시작됐다.

부안장애인종합복지관은 발달장애인의 직무역량 강화와 자격 취득을 통한 취업 연계를 지원하기 위해 ‘발달장애인 요양보호사 전문교육’ 참여자를 모집한다.

이번 교육은 만 18세 이상으로 요양보호사 자격 취득을 희망하는 장애인을 대상으로 하며, 총 11명을 선발한다. 이 중 발달장애인(지적·자폐성 장애인) 10명과 사업 운영 보조 역할을 수행할 수 있는 경증 장애인 1명이 포함된다.

모집 기간은 26일부터 4월 2일까지이며, 면접은 4월 3일 오전 10시 복지관에서 진행된다. 최종 선발된 참여자는 4월 6일부터 9월 30일까지 총 320시간에 걸쳐 이론, 실기, 실습 교육을 받게 된다.

지원 혜택도 눈에 띈다. 발달장애인의 경우 교육비 전액과 교재비가 지원되며, 자격시험 응시도 돕는다. 또한 교육 수료 후에는 취업 연계까지 지원받을 수 있다. 경증 장애인은 교육비의 50%를 자부담해야 한다.

특히 발달장애인 참여자는 장애인일자리 사업 참여 시간으로 인정(공가 처리)되는 반면, 경증 장애인은 근무시간으로 인정되지 않는다.

복지관 관계자는 “이번 교육이 발달장애인의 자립과 안정적인 일자리 진입에 실질적인 도움이 되길 기대한다”며 “관심 있는 분들의 많은 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.

Buan Comprehensive Welfare Center is recruiting participants for the "Developmental Disability Caregiver Professional Education" to support the enhancement of job skills and qualification acquisition for people with developmental disabilities for employment linkage.
