장애인, 노년층, 다문화가정 등 정보 취약계층에 대한 통신 및 인공지능 서비스 이용역량 강화 교육이 오는 4월부터 전국에서 실시된다.

방송미디어통신위원회(위원장 김종철)와 한국정보통신진흥협회(회장 정재헌)는 31일 ‘2026년 통신서비스 활용 및 피해예방 교육 강사단 발대식’을 열고 전문 강사 141명을 위촉했다.

올해 교육은 ▲통신서비스 활용 시 유의 사항 ▲통신서비스 피해예방 ▲인공지능 서비스 활용 및 피해 예방 ▲스마트기기 활용 등으로 이뤄진다.

강사단은 노인, 장애인, 청소년, 다문화가정 등에 대한 맞춤형 교육을 위해 통신서비스 활용 능력이 우수하고 전문성을 갖춘 141명으로 구성된다.


올해 교육은 최근 여러 분야의 개인정보 유출로 인한 2차 피해 우려와 사상 최대의 보이스피싱 위협에 대처하고, 인공지능 서비스의 역기능으로 인한 피해를 예방하기 위한 방법 등에 주안점을 두고 진행될 예정이다.
이와 함께 최신 피해사례와 실제 교육 대상자들의 피해 예방 사례를 공유해 실질적인 도움이 될 수 있도록 했다.

교재 콘텐츠는 도식화‧만화 등의 이미지로 재구성해 가독성을 높이고, 어려운 통신용어를 쉽게 풀어 설명하는 부분을 추가하는 한편 통신서비스 피해 예방 및 대처법을 포스터로 제작해 경로당이나 복지관 등 취약계층 이용시설에 배포, 교육 사각지대를 최소화할 방침이다.

통신서비스 활용 및 피해 예방 교육은 지난 2010년부터 실시하고 있으며, 지난해까지 50만 명 이상의 정보 취약계층이 수강했다.

교육 수강을 원하는 기관에서는 방미통위가 운영하는 ‘와이즈유저’ 누리집(https://edu.wiseuser.go.kr)을 통해 찾아가는 교육을 신청할 수 있고, 개인도 누리집에 게시되어 있는 온라인 교육 콘텐츠를 자유롭게 이용할 수 있다.

The Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (Chairman Kim Jong-cheol) and the Korea Information and Communication Development Association (Chairman Jeong Jae-heon) held a ceremony on the 31st to appoint 141 professional instructors for the '2026 Communication Service Utilization and Prevention of Damage Education Instructor Corps.'

This year's education will cover topics such as precautions when using communication services, prevention of communication service-related damages, utilization and prevention of damage from artificial intelligence services, and smart device utilization.

The instructor corps, consisting of 141 members with excellent communication service utilization skills and expertise, will provide tailored education for the elderly, people with disabilities, youth, and multicultural families.

This year's education will focus on dealing with secondary concerns arising from recent personal information leaks in various fields and the biggest voice phishing threats, as well as preventing damages caused by the dysfunctional use of artificial intelligence services. Practical help will be provided by sharing the latest damage cases and examples of damage prevention among the actual education recipients.

The educational content will be reconstructed with images such as diagrams and cartoons to enhance readability, and difficult communication terms will be explained in an easy-to-understand manner. Additionally, posters on communication service damage prevention and coping methods will be produced and distributed to facilities used by vulnerable groups such as community centers and welfare institutions to minimize educational blind spots.

The education on communication service utilization and damage prevention has been conducted since 2010, with over 500,000 vulnerable individuals having participated until last year.

Institutions interested in attending the education can apply through the 'Wise User' website (https://edu.wiseuser.go.kr) operated by the Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission. Individuals can also freely access the online education content available on the website.
