제27회 전주국제영화제(공동집행위원장 민성욱·정준호)가 ‘특별상영: 가치봄(배리어프리) 영화’를 통해 포용적 영화 환경 확장에 나선다.

‘가치봄 영화’는 장애인과 비장애인이 영화를 ‘같이 본다’는 의미를 담은 영화진흥위원회의 콘텐츠 브랜드로, 한글 자막, 화면 해설 등이 포함된 영화다. 제27회 전주국제영화제에서는 5월 5일과 5월 6일을 ‘가치봄(배리어프리) 영화의 날’로 지정해 가치봄 영화를 상영한다.

전주국제영화제와 가치봄영화제가 함께 선정한 올해의 가치봄 앰배서더는 배우 윤종훈이다. ‘가치봄(배리어프리) 영화의 날’ 행사를 알리고 사회적 관심을 높이기 위해 선정됐으며, 전주국제영화제를 시작으로 가치봄영화제까지 활동을 이어간다.

배우 윤종훈은 제11회 전주국제영화제 한국단편경쟁 대상 수상작 〈얼어붙은 땅〉(김태용, 2010)에 출연했으며, 「몬스타」(2013), 「응답하라 1994」(2013), 「미생」(2014), 「펜트하우스」(2020), 「7인의 탈출」(2023), 현재 방영 중인 「기쁜 우리 좋은 날」(2026) 등 다수의 작품에서 활발한 연기 활동을 펼쳐왔다.

‘특별상영: 가치봄(배리어프리) 영화’ 섹션에서는 총 15편(장편 5편, 단편 10편)의 작품이 관객을 만난다. 제26회 전주국제영화제 한국단편경쟁 수상작 〈불쑥〉, 〈별나라 배나무〉, 〈겨우살이〉와 한국경쟁 대상 수상작 〈겨울의 빛〉 등이 상영된다. 일부 작품의 상영 종료 후에는 가치봄 앰배서더 윤종훈이 관객과의 만남(GV)에 참여한다.

또한 〈3학년 2학기〉, 〈세계의 주인〉, 〈어쩔수가없다〉 등 지난해 한국영화계에서 주목받은 작품들도 ‘특별상영: 가치봄(배리어프리) 영화’에서 만나볼 수 있다.

The 27th Jeonju International Film Festival (co-executive directors Min Sung-wook and Jung Jun-ho) is taking a step towards expanding an inclusive film environment through the special screening of 'Value Blossom (Barrier-Free) Films'.

'Value Blossom Films' is a content brand of the Korean Film Council that signifies both disabled and non-disabled individuals watching movies 'together', including Korean subtitles, screen descriptions, and more. At the 27th Jeonju International Film Festival, May 5th and May 6th have been designated as 'Value Blossom (Barrier-Free) Film Days' where these films will be screened.

This year's Value Blossom Ambassador, selected by the Jeonju International Film Festival and Value Blossom Film Festival, is actor Yoon Jong-hoon. He was chosen to promote the 'Value Blossom (Barrier-Free) Film Days' event and raise social awareness, continuing his activities from the Jeonju International Film Festival to the Value Blossom Film Festival.

Actor Yoon Jong-hoon appeared in the award-winning film 'Frozen Land' (Kim Tae-yong, 2010) at the 11th Jeonju International Film Festival Korean Short Film Competition, and has been active in various works such as 'Monster' (2013), 'Reply 1994' (2013), 'Misaeng' (2014), 'Penthouse' (2020), '7 Escapees' (2023), and the currently airing 'Happy Our Good Day' (2026).

In the 'Special Screening: Value Blossom (Barrier-Free) Films' section, a total of 15 films (5 feature films, 10 short films) will meet the audience. Award-winning works from the 26th Jeonju International Film Festival Korean Short Film Competition such as 'Out of the Blue', 'Star Country Banyan Tree', 'Bare Survival', and the Korean Competition Award-winning film 'Winter Light' will be screened. After the screening of some films, Value Blossom Ambassador Yoon Jong-hoon will participate in a meeting (GV) with the audience.

Moreover, last year's acclaimed Korean films such as '3rd Grade 2nd Semester', 'Master of the World', 'There's Nothing I Can Do' will also be available for viewing in the 'Special Screening: Value Blossom (Barrier-Free) Films'.
