완주군이 사회복지사 처우개선 정책 마련을 위해 5월 한 달간 관내 사회복지시설 종사자를 대상으로 실태조사를 실시한다.

이번 조사는 「사회복지사 등의 처우 및 지위 향상을 위한 법률」과 관련 조례에 근거해 추진되며, 노인·아동·장애인 분야 등 관내 복지시설 168개소를 대상으로 진행된다.

조사는 온라인 방식으로 이뤄지며, 보수 수준, 근로환경, 직무 만족도, 인권 보장 등 5개 분야를 중심으로 현장의 근무 실태와 정책 수요를 파악한다.

완주군은 조사 결과를 오는 8월 공표하고, 2027년부터 3년간 추진할 사회복지사 처우개선 정책에 반영할 계획이다.

송중택 사회복지과장은 “이번 조사는 현장의 목소리를 정책으로 연결하는 출발점”이라며 “사회복지 종사자가 존중받고 안정적으로 일할 수 있는 근무환경을 조성하겠다”고 말했다.

Wanju County will conduct a survey of social welfare facility workers in the region throughout the month of May to establish policies for improving the treatment of social workers.

This survey is being carried out based on related ordinances to the "Law on the Improvement of the Treatment and Status of Social Workers," and will target 168 welfare facilities in the region, including those for the elderly, children, and people with disabilities.

The survey will be conducted online, focusing on five areas such as compensation levels, working environment, job satisfaction, and human rights protection to assess the current working conditions and policy demands on the ground.

Wanju County plans to announce the survey results in August and incorporate them into the social welfare worker treatment improvement policy to be implemented for three years starting from 2027.

Song Jung-taek, head of the social welfare department, stated, "This survey is the starting point for connecting the voices from the field to policies," adding, "We will create a working environment where social welfare workers are respected and can work stably."
