전주시가 올해도 장애인의 자립과 사회참여를 확대하기 위해 맞춤형 평생교육 기회를 제공한다.

시는 오는 18일부터 6월 12일까지 전주 지역에 주소를 둔 19세 이상 등록장애인 157명을 대상으로 1인당 연간 35만 원 상당의 강좌수강료와 교재비를 지원하는 ‘장애인 평생교육이용권 지원사업’의 바우처 신청을 접수한다.

이용권 신청은 온라인 보조금24(www.gov.kr) 또는 주소지 동 주민센터 방문을 통해 가능하며, 방문 시에는 △발급신청서 △개인정보 수집 이용동의서 △이용자 확약서 등 서류를 제출해야 한다.

시는 지원 신청자가 예산 규모를 초과할 경우에는 기초생활수급자와 차상위계층, 장애 정도가 심한 자, 연령이 낮은 순으로 우선 선정할 계획이다. 최종 선정 결과는 오는 6월 30일 개별 통지될 예정이다.

대상자로 선정되면 지역 농협에서 채움카드를 발급받아 전국 평생교육기관에서 강의 수강료와 교재비로 사용할 수 있다. 온·오프라인 강좌 모두 수강 가능하며, 이용 가능 기관은 평생교육이용권 누리집(www.lllcard.kr)에서 확인할 수 있다.

김선호 전주시 장애인복지과장은 “장애인 평생교육이용권 지원사업을 통해 장애인들이 다양한 학습을 경험하고 자립 역량을 강화할 수 있길 바란다”면서 “앞으로도 장애인의 교육 참여 확대를 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

Jeonju City is providing tailored lifelong education opportunities this year to expand the independence and social participation of people with disabilities.

Starting from the 18th until June 12, the city will accept applications for vouchers for the "Support Program for Lifelong Education for People with Disabilities," which provides support for course fees and textbooks worth 350,000 won per person annually for 157 registered disabled individuals aged 19 and above residing in the Jeonju area.

Applications for the vouchers can be made online through the Bogeum24 platform (www.gov.kr) or by visiting the local community center, where documents such as the application form, personal information consent form, and user agreement form must be submitted.

In cases where the number of applicants exceeds the budget, the city plans to prioritize selection based on basic livelihood recipients, the near-poor, individuals with severe disabilities, and younger age groups. The final selection results will be individually notified by June 30.

Once selected, recipients can obtain a rechargeable card from local agricultural cooperatives to use for course fees and textbooks at lifelong education institutions nationwide. Both online and offline courses are available, and the list of participating institutions can be checked on the Lifelong Learning Card website (www.lllcard.kr).
