인생 2막을 준비하는 전주지역 50+세대들이 재능기부를 통해 제작한 오디오북을 기증했다.

전주시는 27일 전북점자도서관 열린점자작은도서관에서 ‘50+ 낭독 커뮤니티 오디오북 기증식’을 개최했다.

이날 기증식은 ‘2026년 지역평생교육활성화 지원사업’의 일환으로 추진된 것으로, 전주시 50+어른학교 낭독반과 낭독 커뮤니티 회원들은 직접 제작한 오디오북 5권을 전북점자도서관에 전달했다.

기증된 오디오북은 △50+어른학교 낭독반 8기가 제작한 김호연 작가의 ‘나의 돈키호테’ △낭독 커뮤니티 ‘아보스’가 제작한 김태훈 작가의 ‘성심당’ △낭독 커뮤니티 ‘소리책’이 제작한 안도현 작가의 ‘연어’와 이경혜 작가의 ‘새똥’, 한강 작가의 ‘눈물상자’이다.

특히 이번 오디오북 기증은 50+낭독 커뮤니티가 지난 2021년부터 꾸준히 이어져 온 나눔 활동이라는 점에서 주목을 받고 있다. 전주시 50+ 낭독 커뮤니티는 중장년층 시민들이 낭독 활동을 통해 지속적인 배움과 사회참여를 이어가는 평생학습 공동체로, 낭독 커뮤니티 ‘소리책’은 지난 2022년 8월 4일 18명으로 결성됐으며, ‘아보스’는 같은 해 12월 1일 20명으로 결성돼 꾸준히 활동을 이어오고 있다. 또, 지난해 9월부터 11월까지 운영된 50+ 낭독반 9기에도 18명이 참여하는 등 낭독을 매개로 한 학습과 나눔 활동이 지속적으로 확대되고 있다.

On the 27th, Jeonju City held a donation ceremony for the "50+ Reading Community Audio Book Donation" at the Jeonbuk Braille Library's Small Braille Library.

This donation ceremony was part of the "2026 Local Lifelong Education Activation Support Project," and members of the 50+ Adult School Reading Class and the Reading Community personally delivered five audio books they had produced to the Jeonbuk Braille Library.

The donated audio books include "My Don Quixote" by author Kim Ho-yeon, produced by the 8th session of the 50+ Adult School Reading Class; "Sungshim-dang" by author Kim Tae-hoon, produced by the Reading Community "Avos"; "Salmon" by author Ando Hyun and "Bird Droppings" by author Lee Kyung-hye, and "Tear Box" by author Han Kang, produced by the Reading Community "Sori Book."

In particular, this audio book donation is drawing attention as a sharing activity that the 50+ Reading Community has been consistently carrying out since 2021. The Jeonju City 50+ Reading Community is a lifelong learning community where middle-aged citizens continue their learning and social participation through reading activities. The "Sori Book" Reading Community was formed on August 4, 2022, with 18 members, and "Avos" was formed on December 1 of the same year with 20 members, and they have been consistently active. Additionally, the 9th session of the 50+ Reading Class, which operated from September to November last year, had 18 participants, showing that learning and sharing activities through reading are continuously expanding.
