사회복지법인 한기장복지재단이 운영하는 부안복지관(관장 노영웅)이 개관 20주년을 맞아 지난 11일 복지관 강당에서 뜻깊은 기념행사를 개최했다.

이날 행사에는 복지관 이용자들을 비롯해 지역 내 유관 기관 및 단체 관계자 등 200여 명이 참석해 자리를 빛냈으며, 지난 20년간 부안 지역 복지 발전을 위해 걸어온 여정을 함께 축하했다.

기념식은 부안복지관의 20년 역사를 담은 '여는 영상' 상영으로 막을 올렸다. 영상에는 복지관의 설립부터 현재에 이르기까지 지역사회와 함께 호흡하며 성장해 온 감동적인 순간들이 담겨 참석자들에게 큰 울림을 선사했다. 이어 그동안 복지관 발전에 아낌없는 성원과 헌신을 보내준 감사한 이들에게 상패를 전달하는 뜻깊은 시간이 진행됐다.

부안복지관은 사회복지관 기능과 장애인복지관 기능을 모두 갖춘 부안 지역의 대표적인 '통합 복지기관'이다. 기관 내에는 ▲부안종합사회복지관 ▲부안장애인복지관 ▲장애인주간이용센터가 각각의 전문적인 별도 사업 영역으로 나뉘어 유기적으로 운영되고 있다. 이를 통해 지역 주민과 장애인 모두를 아우르는 맞춤형 복지 서비스를 원스톱으로 제공하며 지역 사회 안전망 역할을 톡톡히 해내고 있다.

노영웅 관장은 “지난 20년 동안 부안복지관이 지역사회의 든든한 버팀목으로 성장할 수 있었던 것은 이용자분들과 지역 주민, 그리고 헌신적인 유관 기관 관계자분들이 계셨기 때문”이라며 “앞으로도 소외되는 이웃 없이 모두가 행복한 부안을 만들기 위해 전문적이고 따뜻한 통합 복지 서비스를 실천해 나가겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.

On the 11th of last month, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the opening of the Bu-an Welfare Center operated by the Han Kijang Welfare Foundation (Director Noh Young-woong), a meaningful commemorative event was held in the auditorium of the welfare center.

About 200 people, including welfare center users, related local organizations, and officials from various groups in the community, attended the event, shining brightly with their presence, congratulating the journey that has been taken for the past 20 years for the development of welfare in the Bu-an area.

The commemorative event began with the screening of a video titled 'Opening the Door to 20 Years of Bu-an Welfare Center's History'. The video contained touching moments of growth that the welfare center has experienced together with the local community from its establishment to the present, resonating deeply with the attendees. Following this, a meaningful time was spent presenting plaques to express gratitude to those who have generously supported and dedicated themselves to the development of the welfare center.

The Bu-an Welfare Center is a leading 'integrated welfare institution' in the Bu-an area that combines the functions of a social welfare center and a center for the welfare of people with disabilities. Within the institution, the Bu-an Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, Bu-an Disability Welfare Center, and a center for the daily use of people with disabilities are operated as separate specialized business areas, providing tailored welfare services in an organic manner that encompass both local residents and people with disabilities, serving a crucial role in the local community safety net.

Director Noh Young-woong stated, "The reason why the Bu-an Welfare Center has been able to grow into a reliable pillar of the local community over the past 20 years is because of the users, local residents, and dedicated officials from related organizations." He further expressed his commitment by saying, "In the future, we will continue to practice professional and warm integrated welfare services to create a happy Bu-an where no one is left behind."
