문화체육관광부와 한국콘텐츠진흥원은 지난 29일 전남 나주 본원 빛가람홀에서 한국농수산식품유통공사, 농림식품기술기획평가원, 한국문화예술위원회와 함께 직장 내 장애인 인식개선 문화체험형 교육 ‘일 더하기 우리’를 운영했다.

나주 혁신도시 4개 공공기관 간 협력을 바탕으로 마련된 이번 교육은 장애에 대한 이해를 높이고 함께하는 조직문화를 확산하기 위해 추진됐다. 이날 교육에는 4개 기관 임직원 약 512명이 온·오프라인으로 참석해 장애 공감 문화를 조성하고 다양성을 존중하는 조직문화의 중요성을 되새겼다.

직장 내 장애인 인식 개선 법정의무교육의 하나로 추진된 이번 행사는 기관별 개별 교육에서 나아가 혁신도시 4개 공공기관이 함께 참여하는 합동 프로그램으로 운영돼 장애에 대한 이해를 높이고 서로를 존중하는 조직문화 확산의 계기를 마련했다.

교육은 국내 유일의 시각장애인 전문 연주단인 한빛예술단의 ‘일 더하기 우리’ 프로그램으로 진행됐다. 한빛예술단은 시각장애 예술인들로 구성된 전문 공연예술단체로, 음악을 통해 장애에 대한 사회적 인식을 개선하고 장애 예술인의 가능성과 가치를 널리 알리는 활동을 이어오고 있다.

On the 29th of last month, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency held a cultural experiential education program called 'One Plus Us' at the Bitgaram Hall in Naju, Jeollanam-do, in collaboration with the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences, the Korea Arts and Culture Education Service.

This education program, organized based on cooperation among four public institutions in Naju Innovation City, aimed to raise awareness about disabilities and promote a culture of inclusivity within organizations. About 512 employees from the four institutions participated in the event both online and offline, emphasizing the importance of creating a culture of empathy towards disabilities and respecting diversity within organizations.

This event, which was conducted as part of the legal obligation for improving awareness of disabilities within the workplace, transitioned from individual education programs by each institution to a joint program involving the four public institutions in the innovation city. It provided an opportunity to enhance understanding of disabilities and promote a culture of mutual respect within organizations.

The education program featured the 'One Plus Us' program by Hanbit Arts Group, the only professional blind musicians' group in South Korea. Comprising visually impaired artists, the Hanbit Arts Group aims to improve societal awareness of disabilities through music and promote the potential and value of disabled artists.
